is proof that I am still losing. Started on September 8th at 225 pounds. This morning I am at 218.8 just a mere 1.8 pounds away from my goal for before I leave for the Biggest Loser Resort. However...I am going to need some time to extend that goal...lets say like...at least a couple years.
Huh??? Screeching tires halt what??? Not going??? but you already paid??? But it is non-refundable??? But you have told SOOOO many people that you are going??? But you have been working so hard???
Why yes...I have been working my butt off, literally. I still went to kickboxing this morning and I intend to keep going for as long as I physically can keep going. AND I was able to get a full refund due to the Doctor's excuse that I faxed them. You see...the doc thought the workout plan there might be a little too rigerous for me with my "condition" and all.
What condition you ask?
Oh...ya know....the condition called...PREGNANT! Yes! Remember how just weeks ago I posted to by blog about having babies on the brain? Well I guess there was a reason for that, because I was pregnant! I am only 6 weeks along...pretty early. I am not one to be able to contain such news! Especially since I knew so many people would be waiting to hear about my BLR trip. I am not due until May 23rdish.
So, after 3 home tests and 1 trip to the lab to get a blood test taken...it is officially positive that I am pregnant.
We are very excited! Were we trying? Well...we weren't really preventing..but we really didn't expect it to happen so soon, since it took 4-1/2 years to conceive River. River will be 22 months old tomorrow!
I want to thank you all for your enthusiastic support in my trip that I had planned and the weight loss rollercoaster adventure I have been on. It means more to me...and motivates me more than you can possibly imagine! I do NOT plan to give up on being healthy. I believe that if I am excercising and eating the amount of calories that are needed to keep me and baby healthy...and if I happen to lose weight in the process...that there isn't anything wrong with that. I certainly do not starve myself...I am just pretty strategic about what I eat and when I eat it. Would be simply amazing if I didn't gain a ton of weight this round!
I AM SO EXCITED. I never type in all caps. That is how excited I am. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWowsers - so glad I popped over to "hear" the news! Congratulations & many blessings!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! What EXCITING news!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That has happened to me twice--I really got on a roll with the weight loss and then, bam!, I'm pregnant (not that it wasn't good news both times!). I'm close to delivering #2 and am already gearing up my mind for getting back into weight loss.
ReplyDeleteYAY!! Congrats, Janelle!!
ReplyDeleteYAY! Oh that is so exciting! Congratulations! What a good reason to postpone that type of trip! I can't even express how happy I am for you. Will still be following along on this journey too!
