The ocean swallows the sun

I have been dreaming of this place lately....think that life is too short and the thought of selling everything to take a year long sabatical and live in Hawaii sounds better and better every day. I don't think that my family would be happy with that decision...but a girl can dream. Maybe at least a month?

These pictures are a quick look at the first Hawaiian sunset I got to witness over the ocean. It happen so fast and was just breathtakingly beautiful. Everybody around was stopped in their tracks watching and photographing the moments.

In your opinion...which one of these photos is worthy of blowing up and putting on my wall? I am leaning towards 1 or 2.

  1. I agree with 1 or 2. They seem warmer and more cheery than the other photos. I think photo 1 is my favorite.

  2. I would also say #1 or #2...I like that you see more water & reflection in #1, but #2 I like how the sailboats are right next to each other. Also, #2 is horizontal so it might be more versatile as far as finding a good place to hang it. I guess it depends on what you're hoping to do with it. Oh, and if you go with #2, I would suggest you do a quick crop/rotate so that the natural lines are level with the ground...otherwise it might drive you batty once it's hanging on your wall.

They're all nice! I want to be there right now... :)
