Dearest Sawyer, our last born from my womb...
We are so happy you have already been a part of our world on the outside for one month today.
You are so precious, so sweet, and such a good baby.
You are still very sleepy and allow your mommy to sleep most of the night, getting up only once to nurse.
It took you 3 weeks and 4 days to get back to your birth weight of 6 pounds 7 ounces.
There were some intense nights of cluster feeding all night long to get you there, but we did it!
I will have to admit I don't mind you staying itty bitty a bit longer, as long as you are healthy.
You were 20 inches long at birth, but the fact that your preemie clothes no longer fit proves that you have grown in length since then.
AT 12:17 PM on August 29th you entered this world. I can not wait to share with you what a blessed experience your birth was.
Son, please never doubt how much you are loved.
